Meet Our Team

Spa owner, Master Esthetician, wife and mother, Alexis Zimmerman has been practicing Esthetics for over 13 years. Her highly sought-out expertise comes from practicing in many different facets of the beauty and skincare world - from day spas to laser centers, and medical spas.

With the experience and knowledge gained from those previous opportunities, she arrived at a place in her skin care journey in which she made the decision to become a business owner. Thus, in 2017, Flawless Skin by Alexis was born. The company has been growing and thriving in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has been serving clients coming from all areas of Hampton Roads ever since.

As the business grew, so did the need for a team. The company now operates as a full-service skincare studio under the name Flawless Skin, and has acquired other phenomenal estheticians.

Alexis thrives on being able to customize services to each individual's skincare concerns. She is known for her assistance in educating each client about their current skin condition, and providing in-depth detail on all recommended services. Alexis has a passion for offering support with after-care instructions and follow-ups, and is always available to walk through recommended products and the steps to take for use at home.

Throughout the years, Alexis has never lost her enthusiasm for all things beauty, and continually seeks opportunities to learn and grow as a skincare professional. She looks forward to growing her business, and helping others feel flawless in their own skin.

Kristan is a Virginia Beach native. She is a Navy wife & mother to a sweet little boy and girl, Weston and Lillian. Kristan has always had a love for skin & beauty. She worked in different areas of the Medical & Spa industries before deciding to go full force into Aesthetics. She began working for Flawless Skin in 2020 and has been an integral part of our team ever since. She specializes in all things acne, and even offers an Acne Program to help her clients achieve clear, glowing skin. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated skin lover on our team!

Katie was born and raised here in Virginia Beach before living in Boulder, Colorado for several years. While living in Colorado, she found her passion for esthetics and attended esthetics school in Denver. She has worked in the esthetics world for over five years in both Colorado and Virginia. Her passion and excitement for skin is always growing. She is a skincare enthusiast, a full-on product junkie, and truly loves helping people to feel beautiful in their own skin. Katie is excited to continue to grow within the industry and grateful for every client that invites her to be a part of their skincare journey. Some of her favorite treatments to perform are dermablading and microneedling with the SkinPen.

Bretney is one of our lovely Master Estheticians here at Flawless Skin. She loves all things skin, but advanced treatments that pack a punch and give fast results are truly her jam! Bretney has been with us since last fall and she naturally caught on to the Flawless Skin way without skipping a beat. Her current favorite product is Skin Better Interfuse treatment cream Face & Neck. It helps to improve the appearance of skin sagging, lines and wrinkles. She says it’s like Botox in a bottle. When she’s not working at Flawless you can find her being a mama to her sweet son, or waitressing at Sorella’s at the Oceanfront. We love to have her and know anyone who is seen by Bretney is in great hands!

Haydee is one of our amazing Master Estheticians here at Flawless Skin. She joined the team in the fall of 2023 and has been making everyone glow since then. She enjoys all things skin & beauty, but helping clients clear acne and fight anti aging are her true favorites! She loves doing chemical peels. Her top pick for favorite product is the SkinBetter Science Sunbetter Tonesmart SPF 75+. When she’s not at Flawless Skin you can find her spending time with her husband Kyle & sweet pup Ollie. They are very excited to be expecting their first child (a little baby boy) this coming September. Pop in and show Haydee some love and let her help you accomplish those skin goals!

Ashlee has been a licensed Master Esthetician since spring 2024. She believes that everyone deserves access to honest, effective, and personalized skin care guidance that honors their unique needs and values. Some of her favorite treatments are chemical peels and dermablading, but she is excited to grow and learn more about the world of lasers! When she is not at the spa you can find her enjoying motherhood, she always has a funny story about her son, (feel free to ask!) Her favorite product is “all of them”, but specifically one that her wonderful acne expert sister *Kristan Stallings* introduced her to which is the Face Reality Mandelic Serum.

Ashley is our amazing Spa Manager. She has over 10 years experience in the medical aesthetics industry working in multiple medical spas on both the East and West coasts. She truly loves spending her days working in this industry, watching clients’ skin transformations and helping guide them to their skin goals through one-on-one consultations and regimens. She believes in results-driven treatments that are tailored to each client’s individual needs. Her favorite treatment is a deep chemical peel, like the BioRePeel or VI peel, because they are amazing at revealing glowy, youthful skin. Her current product obsession is the Hydrinity Restorative Serum. It’s amazing for expediting healing post-procedure as well as rosacea, acne and scars. It also helps enhance hydration using injectable-grade hyaluronic acid and improves brightness and texture because it’s loaded with peptides! She is always smiling and zooming around Flawless Skin keeping everyone and everything in order! She is a skin lover, product junkie, Navy wife, and mother to two little boys, Rocky and Maverick. If she’s not in the spa, she’s spending as much time as she can outdoors, whether that’s hiking with her little ones or going to a baseball game.

Mari is our skin care "hype girl" and one of our admins here at Flawless. She focuses on marketing and client services. She brings customer service expertise to the Flawless Skin team. She strives to create exceptional client experiences, while also educating clients to help them achieve their skincare goals. She loves all SkinBetter Science products and swears by the Alpharet Peel Pads. If you want to talk about products then Mari is your girl. She also loves to try all the treatments here and will be happy to show you any of her before and after photos as well as give advice on pre and post care. Outside of her role at Flawless Skin, Mari pursues her other passion—real estate—where she thrives as a dedicated agent. In her free time, she enjoys quality moments with her family and their lively fox terrier, Charlie. Mari’s commitment to excellence and genuine care for our clients makes her an invaluable asset to the team.

Roxy is a seasoned professional with over eight years of experience in the medical spa industry. She loves advanced skincare treatments and is always there to lend advice when it comes to choosing the best treatment for your skin concerns. Her passion for beauty shines through in her work, as she continues to strive to enhance her skills and knowledge. Currently Roxy is dedicated to furthering her expertise by studying permanent makeup with the aspiration of becoming a paramedical tattoo artist. Her go to product is the Alpharet Overnight Cream from SkinBetter Science because she loves that it works its magic as she sleeps and allows her to wake rejuvenated and refreshed. Her favorite treatment we offer is Morpheus8, she loves that this treatment combines the magic of microneedling and radio frequency to target deep layers of the skin and improve overall texture and tone. Outside of work and school, she cherishes moments with her daughter, indulges in beachside relaxation, and loves to escape into the captivating world of literature.
