Meet Our Team
Spa owner, Master Esthetician, wife and mother, Alexis Zimmerman has been practicing Esthetics for over 13 years. Her highly sought-out expertise comes from practicing in many different facets of the beauty and skincare world - from day spas to laser centers, and medical spas.
With the experience and knowledge gained from those previous opportunities, she arrived at a place in her skin care journey in which she made the decision to become a business owner. Thus, in 2017, Flawless Skin by Alexis was born. The company has been growing and thriving in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has been serving clients coming from all areas of Hampton Roads ever since.
As the business grew, so did the need for a team. The company now operates as a full-service skincare studio under the name Flawless Skin, and has acquired other phenomenal estheticians.
Alexis thrives on being able to customize services to each individual's skincare concerns. She is known for her assistance in educating each client about their current skin condition, and providing in-depth detail on all recommended services. Alexis has a passion for offering support with after-care instructions and follow-ups, and is always available to walk through recommended products and the steps to take for use at home.
Throughout the years, Alexis has never lost her enthusiasm for all things beauty, and continually seeks opportunities to learn and grow as a skincare professional. She looks forward to growing her business, and helping others feel flawless in their own skin.
Kristan is a Virginia Beach native. She is a Navy wife & mother to a sweet little boy and girl, Weston and Lillian. Kristan has always had a love for skin & beauty. She worked in different areas of the Medical & Spa industries before deciding to go full force into Aesthetics. She began working for Flawless Skin in 2020 and has been an integral part of our team ever since. She specializes in all things acne, and even offers an Acne Program to help her clients achieve clear, glowing skin. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated skin lover on our team!
Katie was born and raised here in Virginia Beach before living in Boulder, Colorado for several years. While living in Colorado, she found her passion for esthetics and attended esthetics school in Denver. She has worked in the esthetics world for over five years in both Colorado and Virginia. Her passion and excitement for skin is always growing. She is a skincare enthusiast, a full-on product junkie, and truly loves helping people to feel beautiful in their own skin. Katie is excited to continue to grow within the industry and grateful for every client that invites her to be a part of their skincare journey. Some of her favorite treatments to perform are dermablading and microneedling with the SkinPen.
Ashlee has been a licensed Master Esthetician since spring 2024. She believes that everyone deserves access to honest, effective, and personalized skin care guidance that honors their unique needs and values. Some of her favorite treatments are chemical peels and dermablading, but she is excited to grow and learn more about the world of lasers! When she is not at the spa you can find her enjoying motherhood, she always has a funny story about her son, (feel free to ask!) Her favorite product is “all of them”, but specifically one that her wonderful acne expert sister *Kristan Stallings* introduced her to which is the Face Reality Mandelic Serum.
Julia is a Master Esthetician passionate about skincare and helping people feel confident in their skin - especially those struggling with acne. She feels there is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone’s skin (and confidence) transform. Some of her favorite treatments to perform are dermablading and chemical peels. Her holy grail product is the AlphaRet Clearing Serum by SkinBetter Science. she says "it’s a total game changer"! When she's not at the spa, you can usually find her working out, traveling, or spending time with her family and friends!
Kelsey is our Spa Manager & Social Media Marketer here at Flawless Skin Medspa. She focuses on creating the best possible client experience while helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes. She has a passion for beauty, skincare, wellness, and aesthetics, Kelsey loves connecting with clients and sharing all things self-care both in the spa and online. From creating content and keeping up with the latest trends to helping clients feel confident and comfortable, she is dedicated to making every experience at Flawless welcoming, fun, and uplifting.
Mari is our skin care "hype girl" and one of our admins here at Flawless. She focuses on marketing and client services. She brings customer service expertise to the Flawless Skin team. She strives to create exceptional client experiences, while also educating clients to help them achieve their skincare goals. She loves all SkinBetter Science products and swears by the Alpharet Peel Pads. If you want to talk about products then Mari is your girl. She also loves to try all the treatments here and will be happy to show you any of her before and after photos as well as give advice on pre and post care. Outside of her role at Flawless Skin, Mari pursues her other passion—real estate—where she thrives as a dedicated agent. In her free time, she enjoys quality moments with her family and their lively fox terrier, Charlie. Mari’s commitment to excellence and genuine care for our clients makes her an invaluable asset to the team.
Kelsey is one of our spa admin and plays a role in creating a welcoming, positive client experience while also helping manage our social media presence. She is obsessed with all things girly — skincare, makeup, fashion, and everything beauty-related. Her current favorite product is the Epicutis Lipid Serum, which has been a complete game changer in her skincare routine. Kelsey believes confidence starts with staying true to yourself and loves helping others feel their absolute best inside and out.
